International Society for Gerontechnology (ISG)
BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE PRESENTATION
In this short talk Dr. Kort will present the International Society of Gerontechnology (ISG) that she presides. The ISG encourages and promotes technological innovations in products and services that address older peoples’ ambitions and needs on the basis of scientific knowledge about ageing processes including cultural and individual differences. ISG works toward the realization of a society fully served by technology that is as accessible to ageing people as it is to people in younger generations. The main goal of this talk is to open the discussion about the creation of a Spanish/Iberian chapter of the ISG.

BRIEF RESUME OF THE SPEAKER
Helianthe Kort is a professor at the Technological University of Eindhoven where she leads the group for the creation of healthy spaces. She is an expert in technologies for the areas of medicine and care, gerontechnology and smart homes. He is also the president of the International Gerontology Society.
